I live in El PASO TX, about 8 hrs from phoenix, this is closer than going somewhere else in texas, or if you know of a shop in New mexico?,, I have a 1971 aqua craft, the driver side stringer has some delamination, I drilled into the wood by the transom and the wood chips are brown, this goes from the transom forward about two feet, then the wood looks ok?, Im thinking I should replace the stringer, but I dont want the boat ruined by somebody who doesnt know what they are doing. I have heard that I can fill the delamination with epoxy and go , but not sure if thats the right thing to do....
