$20 for a Catalog???

$6 for the Catalog and $14 to ship it to me??? Most of my shopping is done online yes, but I still like to look at the Catalogs. Hell I find a lot of new shit that way!!!

Just so you know Rex, Teague, Eddie, etc sent me one for free...

So buy from those other companies, buy online at Hardin or Pony up a dub for a Hardin Catalog and quit yo bitchin!

Do you realize how much money it costs a company to pay a few employees to compile all of their parts, prices and Part numbers then take photos, then hire a company to put it all together then mail out free copies to everyone under the sun? There are way to many people that just want one to look at while on the toilet and never place an order. Also parts get discontinued and/or new products become available. The internet is a much more efficient way to keep you, the consumer updated with their product line and keep operating costs down.

If you plan on spending a few bucks at Hardin (or any company) pay the $20 bucks and support a small business that contributes to your hobby of boating. Hey if your gonna spend some real money with them, $20 is a drop in the bucket.

And for the record: How long ago did you receive that Rex Marine catalog? They have been on back order for years.

Next time think before you bash a company over something they really don't "owe" you in the 1st place.

Can't cost the other places any less to produce a catalog? Spent more than a FEW bucks at Hardin would have thought a complimentary one would have been in order ($500+) Rex catalog came within 3 weeks of ordering? I'll bash anyone anytime if their business practises SUCK?

Hardin is an awesome company and they stock a f*ck-ton of parts. When you ordered you should have asked if they could throw one in the box with your $500 order. Like said in my previous post, quite possibly not all companies see it necessary to their business or effective enough to create more income to send out catalogs for free. Some do and some don't. What if you were a guy who only liked to buy food through drive thru windows? Are you going to go on a restaurant message board and bash a certain Taco Bell for not providing you with a drive thru to feed your face? Like I said, order from another company or stop being a little cry baby or pony up $20 you cheapskate.

In sure Hardin appreciates your business. I'm assuming your someone who has never had to run a company in tough times like this in an industry that isn't doing the greatest. Maybe if you had to sit down with your accountant and weigh out spending several thousands of dollars on free catalogs that aren't bringing in a huge return of income or choosing to spend that money on a more effective task in running your company. Such as: developing a new part or making a part-time employee a full time one.

I'll ask again one more time for sh*ts and gigs... When did you receive the Rex Catalog? As from my knowledge they have been unavailable for the last few years. I was unaware of him completing his newest catalog.

Another thing to think about is this website is pretty loyal to their sponsors.

Your Logic Sucks

In times of late where everyone seems to be in a so called resection, I to am feeling the crunch. BUT it is the people who go above and beyond in these times that make the diffrence. After placing a $500 order I had to ask for a catalog, Ha! I'll buy my shit elsewhere, plain and simple. As for you rIVERtRASH, I just picked you up yesterday and put you in the dumpster. Doing my part to keep the waterways clean.

Don't really mean to offend anyone, just wanted to state my experiance with Hardin in regards to getting a catalog, you my friend decieded to start shit for no reason whatsoever. I'm not like that, sorry if I offended you in any way. Step away from yourself for a moment and realize this was just a "My Experience" post.
