Just wondering if any jets or vdrives are going to be out on the river this weekend?

Where on the River are you launching from. I live in CT. I usually go to Lake Zoar. Here is a pic of Sunday at the sand bar at Zoar.

How's it going. Is that Mustang done yet. I have been on the water(Zoar) alot this year. My boat is an animal. Can't wait till I get the 8-71 EFI on it for next year. Zoar is full of clowns with Renegade and Bayliner boats. At the sandbar they come over and BS on how they have this and that. I am like ya right. They start talking engines and don't know shit.

He did a nice job painting one of the milk crates that hold that thing up....
He said he's gonna redo the shifter knob next....

No, there are no camp sites. It was in the 90's last year till Mid October.
The State ramp is in Southbury off of Exit 14 on RT 84.

I just called and the starter was on backorder and is going out tomorrow.
As for the moving, next time you ask for help moving an air mattress and a styrofoam cooler and an old stack of hot boat magazines, do it yourself.

Where to launch and where is the sandbar?
Get off Exit 14(I think) RT 84 (you will be coming from Waterbury). It is the State Police Barracks exit. Take a left and follow the brown boat ramp signs.
You will then get State ramp in Southbury. When launching make sure you go straight out from the ramp. The water to the left and right is shallow. Go stright out to the middle of the lake and take a right heading North up the lake. Stay to the right after you get around the bend. The sandbar is on the left. You will see all the boats anchored. I will be there at about 12. See you there.

What is really a cool site is the NORAD Satellite Dishes way up north on the lake. They are hidden by the trees and there are armed guards there. You can see them from Google earth too.
I checked out google earth and there looks like there is a huge lot at the ramp at midsection of the lake. How is cell phone coverage there? Boat patrols? If you spot me, flag me down.

Cell Phone coverage is good. Yes that is the huge parking lot at the ramp.
Boat patrols, yes the DEP so called cops suck. I got pulled over twice this year and the boat was not even running. Go figure. Their excuse was they stated they could not see my reg. numbers. I was like look in front of the boat you clowns. Then they said "oh, we need to do an inspection". They broke my balls about noise and speed. I told them, my boat is not even runnning and if it is not running I am not speeding right ??? All I got was shoulder shrugs from them. Be careful of the beer on the boat. No open containers. I do not drink so I don't care.
See you there. I will flag you down. Oh watch the lake lice, they are all over and don't know shit at the launch.

T.J.- What going on. My car will be off the stands next week and I will be able to roll in and out to sand blast. Found a boat out in the sticks last week, needs a total redo but has a 460. Looks heavy but might pic it up to just cruze with. I was on your web site and saw you tearing it up,sounds good. Your going to love that 8-71 on there.

and now that I've thought about it, that white boat only went in the water twice and one of those times it almost sank...seems I'm doing better than you sitting right on shore......
