I didn't know ya'll were staying at the Lodge, nice..... Ya'll get there at 4:00, they'll still be time to take a cruise downriver to the park where the rest of them are camping. We always drop 'em in on Friday afternoon, they have a ramp & gas right there.... If you can get away with pump gas, that is.

Hard to say on that sticker, I don't see why it wouldn't stay on there. Shouldn't be any worse than the name on the back of my boat, long as its decent vinyl, should be alright....

Every time we've been, its pretty much just stay in the middle, lots of room to run there on the Brazos. But yeah, there should actually be a few boats in the water by Friday afternoon.... :D

Thats what I figured... I also heard that the Brazos was down 8 feet from normal. dont know how true that is.

I heard something like that as well, don't think thats all that bad though, it was lower than that couple years ago if I'm not mistaken. Old Greg :D, I mean Greg (oldbuck40) will probably know for sure. Also, Tim & Barb, the folks that run the Lodge, usually can give people a pretty good clue about whats going on with the river & can tell you if there is something to watch out for. Nice people..... :)

Packing, cleaning, etc. I need to grease the wheel bearings and go over everything and double check everything to ensure its road worthy for a long trip. Single axle you know. ;)

must be rough i can't leave port arthur till tomorrow evening i gotta go home, and get stuff together and i plan on pulling out of aransas pass at about 6 am probably more like 7 though, and we will be on the way up.
