I have a Howard Deck. There is not a great place to put any subs. I want to put two subs under the front bench seats in the storage area 12". I have 6- 6.5" speakers in the boat. Can I get the bass out of these subs if I mount them down in a covered storage area and power them up properly?? I will put in two amps one for the subs, one for the speakers. Deck will be Alpine. Subs to be JL. Speakers are Hertz.
Thanks,
Dan

You could put them up there but you would have to vent the area (quite a bit) to let the sound out.Have put them behind the drivers seat in the front portion of the storage compartment. Also in the middle of the helms.Hope this helps.
