I had no idea you were out this way...I actually read your website cover to cover...that puke tank is pretty impressive.
Sounds like we might have to get a Jet Boat gathering this summer.
here is where I stand.

We also have Snake321 who lives near Hartford, but rarely posts :|err :D and Pancho who is out by Gillette Stadium/Foxboro area. From what I've been hearing, there is a group of jetters on the river in Holyoke, but like I've said, never been there by boat.

Where are you located?
I am in Doulgas, MA...
Trying to get the boat back in order...it has been sitting for some time, so trying to redo water lines (heater hose wasn't doing it) changed the intake, went to aluminum heads...did a LOT of polishing, now I want to fix some of the electrical as the years have taken its toll on a lot of the wire ends.
Then I need to come up with a place/ way to mount my fuel filter and dual oil filters. Then the exhaust needs to be redone.
My goal is to have the boat running by may 1, and in the water by June 1...but its all going to depend on a little help from my friends (and family) :)
I just can't wait to hear it run again. It has been almost 10 years!
Heck, you're only an hour away from me. If you need anything or an extra set of hands, let me know.

Where in Holyoke do you guys go?
Any noise ordinances or anything I should know about? I haven't had this boat in the water in MA yet...only AZ.

I launched out of Sportsman Marina in South Hadley, no noise issues to speak of, there is also The Oxbow Marine, but they are private only.

I don't see myself needing help just yet...I need to redo some of the wiring, THAT I may need some assistance with...maybe a bracket or 2, but we will see how far I can get.
Want to try to plan a get together mid-june in Holyoke?

I don't like you already :)
Hoping to get the engine back in the boat on Sunday...my wife is working on cleaning up the interior today...got some parts going to the powdercoater.
Then I am going to hope a lot that my cousin can help me out with the wiring.

I really appreciate the offer! I think I am going to need the help a few weeks down the road though when it comes to wiring and tuning...if the offer is still good then!

NICE!
Can't wait to hear how you make out.
I still have a few more weeks of work to go, but progress is being made.
Today I figured I should go get the registration for the trailer and boat so I can have it re-lettered...I get to the REGISTRY of motor Vehicles to REGISTER my boat...and they tell me...
wrong place.
NOTHING...but NOTHING on the MA website says ANYTHING about some place other than the RMV to register your boat.
I really hate the way this state is run.

No Dyno day yet. Still working on this thing. Also they Dyno owner I was supposed to use is getting back surgery. He is out for the count for a while. I am going to call Carlquist Engines in Oakville, CT tomorrow. I also want to bring my own tuner with me who owns EFI logics. This is going to be a night-mare to schedule. He is an Accel DFI guru too.
Take the link it will show my progress.

Ha Ha same here started out in New Bedford to register both boats and ended up in Hyannis about 45 miles away and of course there wasnt the info from Washington state that made them happy so after two boat inspections on the fishing docks only done at 8:00PM on wednesdays by the most pissed off state employee i ever saw finally got a pass. The EPO (Environmental Police Officer) said he lived on a lake and if he ever heard my boat it would be bracelets for me. I ate crow to get my sticker and then filed a complaint against him.

FINALLY...I got my tax exemption. I mailed some stuff off to the closest office and he called me the very next day. Really nice, really helpful.
He said...ok, you have been approved, I will walk this across the hall so the Environmental Police can start on your registration. I was SHOCKED!
To add to the shock...THEY called me a little while later and asked me to mail them a check and they would get everything taken care of.
Back to the electrical this weekend, make up some studs for the exhaust and 2 more intercooler tubes and I might be able to get this bad boy in the water!
