Typically this is a result of having your privacy settings too high. Medium is a good level for the privacy settings to stay at. Above that and cookies start to get blocked and you see issues like this.
Sometimes this is also a result of third party privacy software such as an anti virus that is out of control.
A third cause can be having your temp file too full. Clear cookies and the cache for this. Doesn’t hurt to run disk cleanup as well.
Check the "remember me" box when loggin in.
Also make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Flash player. You can download this for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
If you are having problems seeing certain forum features, smilies, etc. make sure you have your setting set to standard or enhanced editor under your user CP options.
