Major surging going on for an EFI motor, Maybe it's tuned that way on purpose to go in a V-drive

Boy, that is one kick ass smallblock. I wonder when we are going to start seeing these in boats ? Money doesnt seem to be a problem for a large part of the jet boat crowd , you'd think that we'd see an all aluminum 434 smallblock with 2500hp thumping everyone soon.
To much monkey see monkey do with the blown alky crowd. They better hope my ship never comes in

Default Just FYI

You can, very simply, put a YouTube player right in your post. All you have to do is type left bracket "y" "t" right bracket ( [ y t ] ) then the portion of the URL in bold below,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFLeF9Bq6gk

Then type Left bracket slash "y" "t" right bracket [/yt]

Like this: (hint; to see the code written out click "quote" and take a look at the way it's typed in)

It sounded real good to me! I'm a sucker for a hard running naturally aspirated piece.

Thanks for that info Bud, that was easy.

That's a pretty f***ing big turbo for 1300 cc. Looks like a 106 mm.
It's amazing how long the turbo continues to spin after he shuts the motor off.

Blown 540,
Your engine looks like a real strong runner.
Bring your boat up to Hardy and hang out with the rest of us.

I bet you're liking the E85 at $1.70 / gallon.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited right now. It's taken a year to get it all together.

Block: Merlin std. deck steel cap
Crank: Callies magnum 4.25"
Rods: Oliver 6.385"
Pistons: JE flat tops 4.53"
Heads: Dart 360's....with extensive work done by S&S
Carbs: Holley 950's Reworked by quickfuel for e85
Blower:TBS marine 871
Intake: BDS compitition

I had pulleys for 13% over and that was good for about 12#'s of boost.
My static was intentionally left low so I could switch to pump gas later. But unless they quit selling this stuff I'm not changing for nothing!

Ok so it's not on a dyno but it's pretty impressive they got this little 2100# car with a 90" wheelbase to run 7.06 @ 193 with only a 1300 cc engine.

A 91 mm turbo on 1300 cc !!!

Those turbo motors are sick!

This isn't a dyno run, but check out how had this motor "blows"
during the "pull", completely out and ran over!! Of course 4 turbos and ~200# of boost is hard to harness....
