man your killin me, lol thanks for the pics. I was so excited to get to my second race and then I broke an exhaust valve. Now my pile IS in a pile, also found structural glass issues. That's what I get for "crutching" and not FIXING my delamination probs. Guess I'm on time out until I pull my head out. hahah Oh well, guess I will just have to help those that can and fix mine in the mean time and be ready for next season. Good luck to all those guys that ARE makin it happen. Be safe, haul ass, have fun and see ya in october. (from the pits/beach unfortunately)

Default Ming Saturday

Fry's Melted carb.

It was warm, but NJBA seemed to move the lines pretty fast.

I had a dead battery in my truck and needed help. After three requests my some other passerbys, these great crew members from the Lew Larson -Jeff Martin group helped me out. I had the cabels and they had the battery in there golf cart. Thanks for the help.

I took over 3000 pics. If you have some request I can try to accommodate. Im not as fast as Mike (Rexone) on posting pic,s. Im currently learning a faster way but not there yet.

Nice job! looks like you get the same thing colorwise(bluish tint)the farther you turn left or further down the track to take the pics.It can be a pain at times

I have switched the WB setting on my camera to cloudy setting to counteract and it really helps out with that part without really hurting the straight on and side shots.

The one with roznos(019) and tony garrets(069) boat is really good just about perfect IMO.

I'll try the WB setting, Thanks. In PShop I can change the water color to what ever color I want. I didn't spend a lot of time fixing the pictures I put on line. The brown hills in the background casts a brown shine on the water so it's not so blue as the color of water. In some pics it looks kinda cool with the brown, in others not so much. Is that what your talking about or is it the bluish tint that is case in the hills in the back ground on shots from far away?

Sh#$@t I can even put your wife driving the boat if you want.

Na the bluish tint is when you are standing near the start and take a pic of a boat near the finish.like the one with roznos and hicks. It appears to be more on the water i get the same thing if on auto wb at times it could be a pain to fight for me depends on the time of day and lighting.Guess thats why i like the overcast days more now.

What lens you using 100-400? You got some good shots and did well

Cool i am using a canon 20d and 70-200L but could use some more range at times kinda limited to the shots i get at ming would like to try a couple different places but the way the course goes away from shore near the end cant put a damper on the 200mm.esp if in the far lane.

think i may have seen you then at one point at ming.

I was the one in the white Chevy pick up, that was backed up to the shore by the announcer. My biggest problem was fighting the tall weeds next to shore. I got a lot of pictures of cat tails.

I got a disk from Dennis showing the shots he took of my boat at Ming on Sat. If you ran that race I highly suggest you check out what pics he may have taken of u. Some of the best photos ive seen and reasonably priced.

Thanks for the kind words. I enjoy covering your races. I could not make this weekends races but I plan on being there in November.

Just to let you all know most of the boats that ran in September are featured on the front page of the PB website. I will attach a link for you. Enjoy Dennis
