Sooooo, Herc is running a single carburetted, naturally apsirated, pump gas friendly 528, and you are running a BLOWER on a 502? Yes, I agree that your picture tells quite a story: it shows that your BBC needs a BLOWER to beat a NA 528 by 4 feet at the time the picture was taken.
Please keep that pic in your sig line for all the BBC guys to see and for all the Ferd guys to laugh at you, ![]() LO

![]() By the way, didnt you empty EVERYTHING out of your boat? bimini on the beach, all toys, I think you even took the carpet out. I had all my chit in my boat. Heck, I was gonna run with my bimini up, but I did not want to fly away.

I dont believe Dan can beat me in a beer chug either. Any day of the week I will beat him in a good beer shot gun. He will even admit it or go down trying. ![]() As for the boat being wet. Yes look at those beer guts in the boats. Had a great time need to do it again. Next time 9lbs and a smaller top pulley.

Palms, if you wanna even out the contest then let's put a blower on Herc's engine with 5-9 psi (just like your BBC) and see what happens. You already know the outcome, don't you? Advantage: Ford.LO

Hey Uncle Dan,
My dad says your calling me out. Bring it on! My quad vs. your buggy. He said I can even give you a 5 buggy length start. Looking forward to Thanksgiving. I am sure my dad will let you drive our buggy over Thanksgiving at Aha, That way you can get used to driving in my dust for our race up Olds. |

First off, my comp is very low. 9:1 if I am not mistaken. I can run 87 if I need to with out doing anything to my motor. Second, you and I both know, no matter what the pics show, we were dead even. Next time I will do what you did and take EVERYTHING out of my boat. Change your pully, thats ok, I will be right there with ya. Hell, lets do a real race, like a 3 mile stint. Do you have the balls to stay in it for that long? I do, and have before. About the beer thing, I remember a beer drinking contest at the Oktoberfest and I SMOKED your azz. You said you were done cause you got beat. I am ready for that too!!! Here is a sample. 1/2 liter. You time it. http://s226.photobucket.com/albums/d...t=Beerchug.flv Wanna go to the Tom Papp deal and run 3 laps around the lake? ![]() ![]()

I am not sure I would want to be caught seen in that rust bucket. I have seen it on a trailer in Glamis and it looks worse than the Beverly Hill Billys!!! Me in my buggy and you on the quad, when ever you want. I think first you need to prove yourself and beat Amy up the hill on her bike. ![]() Her Banshee will be ready for your Honda!

Duh? Brain fart.
I was told the compression ratio was 8.75 to 1. I bought the boat with engine already built so I dont have all the specifications. I was told it was a crate 502 with a possible cam change, Edelbrock Performer RPM 6155 Marine Heads. Teage Chiller with a 250 B&M boost gauge reads 4lbs WOT, carb is a single Holley 80577 boost referance 950cfm. I would like to bump the boost up a bit but am not willing to run race fuel. Nor do I want to be on the edge.

Rock Had to sell his fast boat to buy the party barge, however if you need to go 80mph take 6 people, bbq, 3 coolers, 2 dogs, bogie boards, chairs, tables,rc boats, umblellas, and bunch of old 80's tunes.
Rocks got it covered.
