boat popping

Im getting ready to wake the boat up for the season and Last time I was out my boat was popping at low speed and missing, once I was at speed then it didn't want to fire it took longer than normal to start. The spark plugs only had to weekends on them. I have a MSD distributor, coil, 6al ignition and MSD wires.
Any suggestions on what to look at or replace would be appreciated

well if it ran good last tlme out it maybe from sitting unused. start with the basics check for condensation in the dist. cap Look closly at the connections where the msd dist. plugs in and all other connections the red and black wires that go to the msd from the batt.pos and neg.

If it is hard to start, you might want to check your timing! what motor is in it? how much HP? and yes check for loose wire's on the box, coil, and battery! and it might be water in the gas!, but I would check all thing's just to be sure!
