    Default Deck support question.

What have you guys done for deck support? My Bulkhead cracked the deck and after I fix it I don't want it doing it again.. I'm thinking about using urethane foam on the top side of the bulkhead and not glassing it??
What do you guys think?? any ideas will help.. Thank you.

Normally you leave a gap between the bulkhead and the deck so when it flexes it won't crack the deck. I have used some rolled up cardboard to create 1/4" to 1/2" gap. I have heard of people using stir sticks as spacers also, what ever works for you. Once you have it spaced, tab a few places to hold it. When your holding tabs set you can tab the rest of the bulkhead. Main issue is no direct contact between the hull and the bulk head.
