I had a buddy send him his intake to be polished a while back and has lost contact with the guy. Anybody herd from him???

All is not well.
Shipped intake, paid for polishing, return shipping. Got promises, excuses, and postponements. Bottom line - I bought intake, shipped (66.00) to Cali; paid 250.00 for polishing, AND 66.00 for return shipping.

I have NOTHING. Called - left messages. Stated just send it back even if not done. No return call - nothing.

Shitty deal, man.

I don't know him personally, but he seems like a nice enough guy here on the boards... I don't think he logs on very often. He lives down here somewhere by me. Not sure what I can do... Lol. But let me know if I can help out.

He has my t-ram,v-drive cases etc,etc
last time I talked with him was on fri 4-20

I just want my intake back. I ain't going to post his personal info on here; his # is easy enough to find through his own postings but I don't care if he's even touched it at this point. I got excuse his compressor died and he used my $ to help buy a new one...and that put him behind. Other personal issues kept him in the house for about 3 weeks instead of working on people's stuff; started a new job so no time to work on polishing...his
computer died so he can't log on...etc, etc, etc (flat said he didn't know why he didn't get my voicemail).

I've been told more than once "It's almost done - it'll be on its way soon"...the last time was Tuesday the 17th and he said he'd ship it Friday the 20th, and if he didn't ship it for some reason - he would call. So far, no call.

I'll say it here. Send it back. Even if you haven't touched it.

I would read all these posts and see what you can do about getting your parts back. Good luck. I have canceled checks totaling 316.00, plus replacement cost of intake and that's over the threshold for a felony. I can recoup court costs and if I have to travel to California, I'll ask for that too.

All I want is my intake back. At this point, I am willing to eat the money I already spent whether it's done or not. I am not waiting much longer...
