    Default C&J Engineering

Figured I would start a separate thread for info on C&J. We really appreciate the good words! My Dad John has done a ton of work for many of you out there and loves each design.

They had a fire in September of 2010 and have moved, but are fully functioning again.

If you have a story, post it. Here's his new info:

John does very good work. No other person can come close to what he does. I'll post pics of the carb he's building for me this week when I get it.

He just finished a set of 750's for me that he morphed into a set of 930's for my 540 river cruiser. Easy to dial in on the dyno. Great throttle response. Thanks C&J

john @ c&j is awesome, he has helped me way passed the need of carbs. i blew up a motor newbie mistake and completly my fault. he took the time with me and completely went over all of my numbers and me calculations found my mistake and then requested that his son(piston maker) make me an awesome set of cp pistons for a super great price, that would make everything jive correctly.........and they did its been a turn key flat ever since. so inturn thank you so very much

Over the years they have done at least 6 carbs for me.

On budget and on time...............can't ask for much more than that.

John built a pair of 750's for me for a tunnel ram project. Bolted them on out of the box and they worked flawlessly, from idle to WFO.

Not to many companys that u can post about and not one bad experience.....says alot about john, his work, and his customer service. I know w my build I went back and forth between a 1450 & the 4500 I gave him. I probably called him three times a day for a week and he was always nice even though he probably shoulda told me to stop bugging him.

All my friends and I have used them since we were 16 year old kids on our hot rods. I say the proof is in the numbers, the 930 double pumper John built for me netted me a little over 0.4 seconds in the quarter mile in my chevelle.

I couldn`t agree more!!! Johnny has always helped my Dad and I with whatever project him and I were building at the time... This last time he did anything for me he had to use everything in his bag a tricks he could to get it to haul ass with the to small of a blower and carbs for the size of motor I built but he understood I had a budget and I wanted to race that season instead of waiting until I could buy bigger stuff) it ran a 9.01 right off the trailer....
In a way I was bummed to go to a bigger blower and more boost cause it meant MFI instead of carbs and dealing with Johnny cause with the MFI who am I going to call when I have some retarded ass question?
