olds 455 question

Quick question , I've got a 18' spectra jet berk jc-a with olds 455 mostly stock it's got a tunnel ram with 2 holly 650 vacuum secondary carbs. I'm thinking of a new cam and wondering what everyone else is using and secondly my secondary's do not open at WOT, can the carbs be tuned to work ? (I've heard vacuum secondary carbs don't work on jet boats.)

junk the vacuum secondary carbs and put in mechanical in my honest opinion as far as cams that all depends on how deep your pockets are
