    Default Taking out the trash

So I guess the time has come to depart with the crashed up Kona.
I have been holding on to it and telling myself that I might fix it, but that was just a fantasy. It is time for Me to just put it to rest and move on.
I need to remove My intake and some misselaneous hardware and then it will be ready to go. So that brings Me to My question. What is the protocall for dumping a fiberglass hull? Is there any place that will take it whole? does it need to be cut up?
I will probobly scrap the trailer, but just do not know about the hull itself.
I am in Vegas, if any one knows about a local area and where to take it....Hal

I'm not here for a long time, I'm just here for a good time!
If your not on the edge.......your taking up too much room......Drive it like you stole it!

Hal, you have my sympathies. That has to be one of the hardest things to do beside loosing a family member. It was such a beautiful boat. In fact I have your build thread bookmarked as a guide for my son while he build his Sleek.
If I lived close by, I'd stop by with a case of beer and help you with it.

I would imagine that you would have to cut it and dispose of it in the local dump. A guy i bought a pump from did that here.

In Oklahoma it would burial at sea. Artificial fish habitat.

If it is crashed bad then cut it up. If it can be made into a playground toy then see if you can do that.

The side of the boat makes a nice man cave hanging also. Fred Rice crashed this hydro on I believe it's first pass. He said he spent countless hours polishing every bolt.

Not a pic of the wall hanging but it's in the background.

I just take them to the dump or the transfer station here. no need to waste time and saw blades. they wont take them with
fuel tanks or motor (EPA = no gas or oil). they even pull em off the trailer for me.
