CONGRATS!!!!! Nothing like that! Best part is you get to look at the seat you pissed in when you were a youngster! Again congrats and rebuild a memory only better!!!!M
That is totally Awesome!!! I know exactly how you feel... I was raised on the exact same hull............ I have been looking for the past 4 years for it... I may have settled for a very similar one........... Same hull, just needs alot of work......
Tabs up, Drives out................
Enjoy the memories, I made an atempt to find my dads boat that I first rode in many years ago, but with no luck. It was a 21 ft Chris Craft cabin cruiser he built from a kit in our garage. Mom said he had to tear the front out of the garage to get it out, but that was nothing to my ol man, he was a master carpenter. I was three when I sat in his lap to drive, yes, he is to blame for my love of boating. To this day I still remember that day, and that was 55 years ago. Hope you keep the good memories you had for years to come.Oh yes, You might let the ol man drive it once in a while.

What a cool story!!!
Very Cool story I have been trying to find my Dads first Tx 19 he had and the boat that is to blame for my obsession of them. But I havent been able to. My Dad bought it from Dan Pasto yes NFL oilers QB which bought it brand new had Jim Youngblood build it turn key. My Dad owned it for many yrs and in the early mid to late 90 sold it to a guy down by lufkin Tx who went racing with it in SDBA. I have old pic and have tried to run the old TX # but nothing comes up from recent contact. So its either put up in a barn/shop or its total out by now or its still up and running hard as it always did.
Same with me I was riding in this boat in my moms stomach and my daughter the same, bought new in 1977 and has never left the family!! Very special to me!! I treat it like another child!
