question for you jet boat guys.

I have a CP 19' that is currently built with an outboard. I am looking to sell the boat and have 2 interested buyers (strangely both called today...when it rains it pours). One buyer wants to buy it as a package and the other buyer wants to purchase the hull and trailer only so he can do a restoration and turn it into a jet. The hull is an 87 and has moderate oxidation on the deck and some stress cracks. Nothing a color sanding couldn't take care of I would imagine. I'm looking to be very fair so I need some opinions about what a CP is worth with a 2004 Extreme trailer built for me by Eddie. Here's a few pictures...please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

Unfortunately Nada does not have California Performance (or similar like Youngblood or Predator) in their collection of boat builders.

How many years was it I saw that boat parked on the same little sandbar at the left hand bend going up river? Many many moons....... we always waved at each other.

I think that is when Rex owned the boat. I've only been to Martinez a handful of times. However, I'd still wave if I saw your boat (unmistakable CP).

Thanks W. I'm actually only asking $3500-$4000 which I think is very reasonable for it and had a lowball offer at $2000. That won't happen and I don't need to get rid of it any time soon.

What outboard is on the back?...I may be interested in the wacker/rigging..PM me the details.

the problem is that empty hulls with interior that are already jets are not worth much... and thats what he's comparing it to.

just sell the whole thing rather than dealing with getting stuck with the motor.

It's a 2004 225 Optimax with approximately 150 hours. I'm selling it for $9000. It's been babied and serviced by Neil at SD Performance Marine here on the boards. I'll throw in all the props (2 high 5's 23 and 26 pitch, 4 blade trophy 1 and a few more stainless props) too.

We'll see. I've check all the CP listings within 1000 miles and all are over $10K for just the hull. I'm in no hurry to sell this thing so I'll test the waters occasionally or I'll just keep having fun with it.
