    Default Rouse 19 #10

Here's the latest out of the Rouse 19 mold.... Joel and the guys at Genesis did an outstanding job again. It's a lake/river lay up with a false floor and 1/2" wood transom. Went with KD 1" milled clear doug fir for the stringers and transom, and Joel is flow coating the stringers, transom, and engine well. Hoping for right around 575 to 600 pounds, as it built for river use and not the track (although it might see it a time or two....)

It's been a blast building these boats and I hope the new owner of the mold continues to build em and keep the hot rod momentum going. Lots of bad ass choices these days for a new platform.....

    Finally, a boat for me.......................RD

After one round of wet sand and buff, still waiting on micro polish and flow coat for the inside... The damn thing went together with only 5 stringer washers to tab it on the entire side, two at the rear and three up on nose. The hull is almost capped right out of the mold....

And the nose fits without any overhang......

Thanks for the kind words.... Coming up with decent graphics on these things is a bit of a challenge. The hull is not very big and there are very definitive hull shapes that don't allow much..

I knew if I put hockey sticks (which still look good IMO) on it, you guys would crucify me!!....

I'll post up some more pics as the project goes along.... Seems that the bar has definately been taken up a few notches with some of the recent builds around here... RD

Dude, those fades are freakin' killer!!! I really dig the color choices. Hope to see you out at the river sometime in it. Just look for the pumpkin.
