Ok got some.quick.questions ..I 've been reading on here alot about shoes and ride plates ..at what point would it become a necessity or do all boats benefit from this mod does it matter if its rounded keel or delta pad. I ask cause I wonder if it would benefit my boat a 79 hornet 454 chevy berkley jc pump diverter motor just has stock 427 l88 heads victor jr intake 850 holley carb mild hydrualic comp cam I think its 274 286 advertised.. pump is not set back yet dont know if that would matter and debating on wether or not to set back
