How much HP?

How much HP to turn a 9.5" SS impeller and DPS inducer 6000 RPM.

The only chart I can find only shows 4800 RPM. anyone here care to offer their thoughts.

RPM is pointless without knowing intake pressure. You can turn a AAA 9.5 impeller 8,000 RPM if the pump is not loading water properly. And a chart will tell you 1,600 HP

In the process of getting the pressure readings, hopefully have them this week just kinda fishin for a ballpark idea on where I'm at with this thing. Got a gauge, need to pick up a hose and get it together, Im still thinking this loader (V blocker I think ) is the wrong one for this boat. Im thinking there is too much blocking going on LOL.

You never said what impeller it is.

Without accurate data this should be close. Because noting will be accurate. lol

Its the 9 1/2" stainless that was in it when I bought the boat.

I recall James calling it a 4A I really don't know. but it has a lot of meat on the fins. James could answer that question better than I could.

Damn That's quite an approximation. now to make sure it's loading like it should and see where its at then.
