new to jet boating and have a question

i just picked up my first jet boat today its a 77 hondo with a 454 its a decent boat but its all new to me but i am stumped on one thing i was told it had a berkely pump in it but the transom plate is way thicker and it says jet boat engr on it anyone have any idea what i have

Looks like a berk to me. There are different types and sizes of transom adapters available for Berks. Probably has to be that big to cover the handhold cover.

Great find and nice boat! that hull has alittle different bottom than alot and the intake has already been set back a pinch thus the deep transom adapter! Once you get used to it and make the right adjustments it will run VERY respectful! JMO Mark
