Hey fknLarry! We'll be out there Thursday till Sunday, we stay in Laughlin but drive down to the chanell and London Bridge almost every day. There's just something about the cruise down the river at around 40 mph with the Sirius cranking that we just can't get enough of. The speed run back up to Laughlin starting around 5:00 or 6:00 is always exhilerating!
I'll keep my eye open for you and say hi. I'll be in the kinda rare classic Sleekcraft pictured below, you'll know it when you see it.

I'd find the parts you need before you get there though, right now a lot of the shops are ghetto rich with all the summer work and wont want to be bothered with nickle dime stuff let alone install it.

Just be aware Havasu is not a great place for a low freeboard boat when the big boats are out and the wind picks up on busy weekends. Parker strip gets pretty rough also but early and late is pretty smooth. Be safe!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm actually from there . My uncle sunk a boat there about 10 years ago due to similar situations

Look for me when your out. You should go it a good time. Lots of tail and a good place to kick back, stand around in the water, and bullshit.

Heres my boat and this pic is actually from sandbar.

fkn Larry, I'm guessing I'll drive past you if you are at the Sandbar, I can't miss that boat. We'll stop by if I see either of you guys there. Is that an Omega or Kona garageboys?

my 11's and my 454 get me from parker dam thru havasu channel, under bridge, around the island and back to the dam with about 2 gallons to spare cruising at 3k pretty much the whole way. i usually turn off one tank, then run the other side until its empty then i know i have another tank at the same level to get back. heh.
