New motor test session - yesterday
The boat responded well to the new motor/pump and diet combo. Similar HP as the last one, with more torque and 250lbs less weight in the boat. We had a little test session yesterday in the lagoon, gettin it ready for the regatta. It launches so much better......just sayin

I think a link to this pic should be posted in all the GW hardware theads... IMO, That is how a 19 GW should set....... Bad ass machine Gene. I'm just asking, but is there ANYBODY else that runs a 19 that would even come close to that thing et or mph? with 250 less pounds it must be a beast to 800 feet.

have you seen gene lately? He put on at least 20 lbs muscle..so it's really 270 lbs he got out of that boat! JK gene..boat looks great hope to see it soon.

Thank you guys. We're hoping to have it run 112-115 range with no spray, but the bottle will be used eventually.
Between the aluminum block, side tank capped (7-10 gllns less to carry), 6lbs lighter battery, 12lbs out of the pump with a all new parts (full detailed A/B) and misc other things to remove or lighten, it was right at #250lbs lighter.
The boat always ran well on the big end, but HP couldn't overcome the weight when runnin 600-800' on the river against guys like Zack and Lance. This should help make it a little closer anyway!
