Ford/Chevy/Mopar/Whatever - I know there are quite a few of you lurking in the shadows so let's shed some light on the subject and talk about what's working for you. What's in your motor? What accesory drives, headers, manifolds, and other items do you run? What's it turn for RPM? Post your pics, discoveries, info and anything you deem neccesary to help others with small blocks.
Note: Let's keep the, "buy a big block" chatter out of this thread. Some of us don't have the budget for that kind of thing.

My story: Bought a cheap jet boat and got a free pre-'85 SBC 350 out of a buddys truck, mileage unknown. I'm running a Nicson front motor plate, and rear BBC 3pt mount to a Berkely JC-A with a PD. The two are connected with a 1310 u-joint and flywheel. It has a 650cfm edlebrock carb w/ mechanical secondaries, edlebrock logs and snails, and Accel distributor with a locked and plugged vac advance. Best I can do is 45mph GPS at ~3500rpm. Bottom of the boat has a 1/4" hook in it and I'm too busy having fun to care.
I was recently offered a free 383 short block that's already been clearanced so I'll be assembling that over the winter and dropping it in. I'll most likely end up running a different cut impeller (A/B,B) to match the motor's peak power point. Anyone else running a combo like this?
