Remember your boat beat mine last time they lined up? At firebird, in shitty air, My boat runs a 10.15 on motor. At the river it runs significantly better. That said, to run 8.0 in 1000', one would need to run roughly a 9.95 or so in the 1/4. I think you and I should be right there on the motor. We both drag ass outta the hole but remember you have over a hundred feet to take a set and get going as fast as possible. Its gonna be a fun weekend for sure!

Todd I have everything for the boat kill switch rope deflector perko switch and even a driveline cover. I just need to round up some safety gear
Ok I know where Parker is and been from the dam to the sand bar at the south end. So where is Blue water so I can come watch and maybe Join. Will have to read the rules to make sure my pile will pass inspection.
Thanks
So you are saying that I would need to run more than 2 tenths faster to get to 8.0 in 1000'? If I dial it in for a 9.95 at firebird I wont make it to the 8.0 mark in Parker? Sorry but I disagree. My boat is dialed in for the air and elevation of Parker. Took me two summers to do it. I make no changes to it when I run at Firebird. It is fat as hell doesn't launch the same at all. So when I take it to the place that I set it up to run most efficient I am confident that the 2 tenths will be all I need.
Just looking at one of my time slips from Elsinore, I ran a 9.91 @ 1320 and a 7.62 @ 1000 ft. I would love to hafta slow it down for Parker. As for speed, my boat is pretty much done at a 1000 ft. anyway
I may be growing older, but I refuse to grow up!
On the bottle for 2 seconds
