I have a buddy that had his polished intake and valve covers done when he got his headers redone. Looks pretty good, I could see it done on the scoop, but it'd prolly look better left polished. it still has the orange peel look still.

Im just sick if polishing and it seems the chrome is fading
Embee can put a ceramic clear on your polished stuff
Looks pretty damn good
I had my billet swim steps done
And I want to do everything on my engine next
Cleans up easy

everything that is polished has a ceramic clear - except for the headers.
This stuff is nothing like clear PC

That looks amazing, do the folks coating also do polish work? I'd like to get my parts perfect before they are coated.

The clear looks great do you have do any waxing on it or wash it and good to go

There was a thread somewhere on here that has a clear coat you put over polished and looks amazing .. I haven't been able to find it but they polished some parts and put the in salt water, shit water, any kind of water and the shit still looked great .. If anybody knows what I'm talkin about post up the thread please .. I think alot of the V-drives guys are doin it
Embee done a set of headers for me and they really turned out sweet
