LMAO! Forgot about that one Brian. What an insane 5 dayer that was. Lets just hope he doesn't post any more footy from the rest of the weekend.

Just a little plug for a business venture we're have been making camera systems for F!(Ferrari) cars the last couple of years. We are now starting to look at different venues. What do you guys think of a camera system for boats. We are going to make one that I can mount on my boat for test runs at first and then branch out if we get enough positive feed back

A guy I used to ride dirtbikes with used to have a small helmet mounted deal that we used for riding dirtbikes on single track around here. They work really well, and because it's mounted on the helmet rather than the bike itself, it takes a lot of the bounce and bobble out of the video. Basically your body takes up most of the shock rather than having it mounted on a rigid surface such as the bike (or boat in this case) where it's getting the full brunt of every bump. The camera was only about 2" long and 3/4" in diameter, but there wasn't any kind of zoom capability. The little camera would just connect to a standard video camera via a single cable. We carried the actual hand held video camera in a back pack when we rode. Surprisingly it never broke even if you dumped the bike (not that would ever happen).

They sold em with an elastic strap, but he ditched that and mounted it to the helmet with some screws and homemade bracket.
