I got it from the second owner who is a good friend of mine and i was going to help him get his 706 bbc together to get the boat running again but he decided to sell everything. He has a hard time maneuvering his old self into the boat with some joint issues that cropped up so some joint replacements wont let him race for quite a while so no need in letting the boat sit which it has been doing for several years. If u look at the boat you can see the extreme gunnel bracing that was added when the boat was built to stop the flex that some of these boats have along with a very nice kevlar bottom. Ive seen this boat run and ive never seen it make any stupid moves. I guess thats why its still in one piece.

Badbug, any info on that nozzle setup? Did it do better like that instead of a droop? Ive been fighting a issue with a 16ftr and im thinkn my droop is the issue.lil boats dont need any real help gtn lift, motor power works fine for that along with hull design.was just curious if ya knew anything bout setup from bowl back.any idea what the 500ci had for power?

the 500 incher was what ran the boat in the high 7's in 1988 but dont know the power.

IN the mid 90's it had a 900- 1000 hp 557ci and 250 hp shot of nitrous to run the outlaw lake races. My friend has all the notes on the setup he ran that motor in.

The setup in the boat right now the way it is in the pics was for a 468 ci motor which this boat was running in the 9 second bracket the last time it was raced . There is a lot of hardware with this boat.

Have several loaders, shoes, snap cockpit cover, tom morrow fresh pump not yet run with double a stainless and new inducer, calgo steering, everything stays in boat. Fuel pumps, 7al ignition, digiset timers, headers, motor plates, braided lines, extra seat, tack, gauges etc. california perf trailer. Jetaway, two way radio mount. Bottom of boat is speedcoated and not run up on banks. No marks or gouges. Has one little bump dead center on front whereit bumped the dock pole and has spider web there. One small web on transom on each side around the hold down u bolts for trailering straps. None seen elsewhere. 318+687-9088 or i will give u the guys phone number that has ran deep in the 7's with this boat to see how it handles.
