Congrats Ross. Nice work!
Great job Bizz. You were dialed on that holding rope, clean lights and right on the number, you kicked ass and its only your second race. Bad ass!

great job ross, and it was great racing with you and jordan! that 9.50 class was stout this weekend, and a lot of fun, and it was great seeing you wade through it all and come out on top.

I went up for the day yesterday on sunday it was fun but a long drive for a day. i'll be camping next time for sure. CONGRATS to all the winners i reconized alot of the boats from the river it was good to see you guys run one last time for the year![]()
Ok I'll just start by saying that was on of the best weekends that I have had in a long time. There is no BS in the phrase that racing is addicting. I'm now hooked! Went rounds in the 9.50 Sunday against Pattymelt, Prigmore and the final with Widow to take the win. I learned a ton about drag racing last weekend and figured out that each one of those pair ups had to be run differently due to changing conditions as the day went on. The boat would run as low as 9.4's in the morning air and low 9.5's in the afternoon due to the air going away. The boat would run it's number in the afternoon but there was some fender racing in the morning. Fastest time for the weekend was in PGJ Sunday am with a 9.462 ET and 113 mph. 113 might be a little questionable because the clocks were kicking out some weird times for other racers but all my other time slips say between 109 and 111mph and stay between 9.58 and 9.52 ET all day. Boat was on the number. Getting used to the tree also cutting some decent lights of .016. Went to the Finals in PGJ and took runner up to Burklin in the Red Pearl.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped out Andy & Mike F in the pits. Shannon, Andy and Hustler for driving the truck. Jeff with Embee, MPD, Zipper for the room, Joe Morgan for the Lifeline gear and again CS and Fuel for all their help and advise. Thanks to everyone who came by the pits from these boards too. Nice meeting you all. I have some killer photos but need to scan them and get them up.
Thanks Everyone
