I thought the same!!!!! I bought a berk bowl from a board member and looked at pics of it on line and when i got the bowl i took it to the shop i go to. Looking at it closer the bowl was a real early model slpit bowl. Finding out that the bowl wouldn't flow for what i need it for and it took a different size shaft then what i had, so a kit to make it work was going to cost more then what i paid for the bowl. Know i have a large paper weight sitting on my shelf. So look very close to every thing before you buy IMO![]()

thanks for the opinions. all I know is if it were me who sold it, and the guy couldn't use it bec it wasn't the part he told me he wanted, I'd give him back his money. it clearly is not the part he told me it was. and since it is early berk, nobody is going to want it. they throw them away when they put on diverters. it was only $70 so I guess lesson learned, don't buy from that guy. this thread can go away now.
Sell it on e-bay. It will sell. People looking to rob the good parts off their boats prior to selling would want it.
