so, if you buy something on here from amother member and it wont work for your application should they take it back and return your money? for instance, a stock nozzle, supposedly for a AT pump with the straight snoot which has the MALE end on the snoot instead of on the nozzle as in a berk or similar.
If They Knew What They Had, And What You Had, And Sold It Any Way, Not Only Should They Take It Back They Should Pay For Shipping Also.
Dave ,I belive most everyone in this PB "community" (members and vendors) are reasonable and understanding that way. I'd suggest communicating privately with who ever it was (if you haven't already) From what I read , you got/bought an older AT nozzle adaptor with a "ball" unit and you needed a later receptical type ? Sometimes no matter how many questions we ask and even when we swap pictures, mistakes get made Tom
yep, been there myself. i sold a dominator droop to someone here on the boards, realized it wouldn't fit for him and nothing but the dominator droop i sold would fit my divertor socket(tom you'll remember this). i got with the fella and made it right with him and all was good, my bud tom (jbp) sent him another droop for me, everyone was happy.Originally Posted by jetboatperformance

just an added note....i "never" buy anything unless i can see pics!...if they can't supply them, i dont buy...as stated, most members are very good at supplying info & pics of whatever u want to buy...i have personally never had any trouble

Tommy your "droop delima" was as I recall due to a early production run of Dom nozzle adaptors and droops that had a slightly larger "inny" receptical , when used with a Place diverter or Berk nozzle they fit like a "hot dog in a hallway" and leaked OR Conversly the early Dominators nozzles are to large to fit the late Berk recepticals (without machining) Tom
IMO, the seller should not be expected to. It's kind of buyer beware with used parts unless the part is not as described. If it were me, yes, I would take it back, but if I bought the wrong part from somebody, I wouldnt really expect them to take it back. It would be nice if they would though...
Just post it up and sell it to someone else for the "correct application"

I doubt anybody wants it, it appears to be an early model berk, it doesn't even have the groove for an o-ring. it is polished tho. but not still shiny.

For what its worth...i never buy anything unless i am in full understanding what i am getting used/new from the other party, not to mention what condition the new/used part may be in.
...and i might add, i will look online at the new part for a price check to see the authenticity of the pricing and if in fact its the part i need!

IMO if it was miss represented then its up to the seller to make it right..
