    Default Diamarco Cap Job finally Got painted

    Ok Randy AKA dragstr19 pulled it off, we picked up this partially capped boat project, Ground off the previous attempt to cap & started over, Cap Job looks Great & paint scheme got flopped, wood grain is not Longer on boat, looks great, now for some color sanding & buffing.

    You definitely need more (and better) pictures. There oughta be some kinda law about putting up small, bad angle, bad lighting, cell phone pictures.........

    You get an A for effort on the boat.........and an incomplete for your photograpy course grade.

    Easy Dan, not everyone is as savey on the computer as you are. I can only post pic's as thumbnails. Can't figure out how to make them "big".

    We need to get together Steve. I can post full size, but not thumbnails. Between the two of us.........we got it covered. I guess we both get incompletes on our computer 101 class.

    Will post more when we get it on the trailer, trailer was brown & had a Hand crank winch on it, removing winch relocating toung jack, & trailer going white, bunks going to get some TLC as well, will post more pics soon, as far as the Before Pics there are a ton of them on this board, that is where I got this boat from, it belonged to one of the peeps here & he was attempting the cap job origially.

    Looks good, I'd like to do it to my Dimarco. But with the economy the way it is, it'll be a while before I get to that boat.

    Ok Mr. squitcha I didn't get any awards at taking pics, For some reason its always been a problem with me, I don't get Bfr & After pics & I always forget to take pics during, even when I build my Hot Rods, But the Gal Pal got me a way fancy NEW digital cam & I am going to make it a habit to take MORE pics.

    Thx., the boat came alive with the wood grain removed!!!, this is only a start we have 3 more boats that are going to get the same treatment, Next Project will be a Python that I traded for the Diamarco, (previous owner of Diamarco is getting a Python from me, We will do a set back pump & we are doing the Keel on the bottom of the boat, will take pics & post.

    Ok Randy AKA drgstr19 has made more progress, carpet is in, gas tanks in, eng. compartment is treated with nice gloss black. We pulled the pump from another boat so Pump will go in by the weekend, Hopefully our Eng. which is comming from New Mex will be here soon & this bad boy will be floating.
