YES! We have a newly designed race nozzle with inserts that will be available late spring of 2009. Just got the numbers on it so we can release it soon.
This new design produces MORE thrust. We're very excited about it. Pictures will come later.

Glad to hear you are back at it Dave. I tried to contact you for over a month and the day you returned my call, I was gone. Sorry! I'll get in touch with you this coming week.

It seems I have become the Missing Man.

Doing a total of 10-15 Pro Drives (Pre Bought) and maybe thats It.

I just got a load of our racer nozzles from cast also. a Load of Short Droops.

I pulled all our tooling back to put Logo's on Product. I got a lot of Bitching for that one.

I did a load of Bowls just before Christmas and need to re-order there!

Phil Roshiem tested the new Cupped Impeller, The indicators were to close the exit port back down 1/4" which is where we ran all our original testing at. It is BAD as he ran a launch speed to 1/2 Track punched it and ran a 128
out the back end. The Impeller in Aluminum will take over 550 HP and a launch thats to hold on! I will release early the cupped. Another design Bob
has had for us, will under go early testing. It is a complete new thrust vane.
Problem is it will be limited in cut size do to this.

Anyway call me next week (If you can get me)LOL

How in the Heck are you going to get thrust out of a nozzle, when the Thrust Process of a Pump is all ready over! Do you mean Back Pressure build up.

I am caught here... We did 5 years ago build 45 Bad Machined Bowls, 35 were caught 10 got out and buried us (We did replace all of these). So I assume you were not included that batch!

#1 Yes we did redesign the bowl internals 3 years ago. We had no more blown bowls then any other Mfg. Yet Willis Johns brought us another Mfg's Bowl He had blown the entire end off, including a 5x7" hole in the side and all Vanes inside.
What blew my mind was the casting was sound, yet the damage from under load blew my mind.

Our vane wall attachment exceeds any normal or Race application load demands. Yet Willis asked if we could build him a stronger Bowl. 2 Years ago we pulled the tooling in and again beefed up the vane attachment. We also added .125 after machine thickness to the entire external surface. Jointly we cut 3 bowls in 1/2 to determine a new machine program. By that we changed the Dia. of machine and machine angle's to provide max. material as the vane makes its pressure wrap. With that done I don't know what else could be done in a Alum Alloy T6 condition. A Mag Bowl would sink your boat.

I also must state here every (excluding the above stated problem we had) bowl I have seen blown is a load problem. I have a stack of other Mfg's bowls that were blown and all were power on load, unload conditions.
We have more High Performance Bowls being ran or close to as anyone.
We do not see this problem without the driver knowing what's going on.
You don't take a bowl out by normal flow. You do blow them by passing cavitation through them. Fly them over wakes or hard core underload in a race you are going to blow equipment up. Impeller, Suction, Bowl or all of it. I just talked to a Fuel Boat who is not running our product and is having this problem. I and others are trying to help him get pass this unload problem. He told me he is blowing a bowl a race, or close too.
