    Default Oil relocation kit

Was wondering how many people are running an oil filter relocation kit?

Does it help cool the oil quite a bit?

I am going to be running a HV oil pump....but it just seems like a long way to push the oil through possibly 2 filters and back to the engine?

Little effect if any on temperature. Mostly for convienience in changing filters. #12 lines you will not have any problems.

Well, that is what oil coolers do...

However #1 is to determine if you need one (with an oil temp gauge). Too cold of oil is not a good thing. I like 220-230ºF range for good quality oil for proper lubrication and moisture burn off. If one is pushing 240-250+ range then it is time for a cooler.

If the oil temp is between 220-230 degrees, what would the water temp be?
