Going back together

Well the new carpet came in this week so it's time to start putting it all back together. We got the carpet all laid down and the battery tray carpeted as well as speaker boxes covered. The cubby boards and speaker boxes are not screwed in yet but you can see how they will lay. Meggin is making me take a break from the sun but this afternoon I will have the seat bases recovered as well. You will also see my new Flash Steering Wheel. With DST coming back around hopefully this week I'll have the wiring buttoned up and be ready for the engine install next weekend.


Thanks to all those that have helped me out (PB Forums, Tom@JBP, Brian@Rexmar and who ever handles internet orders with Dana) and to the Office Mail room for handling all my packages (I need to bring them a thank you gift).. It was a pretty funny phone call when a 20 foot roll of carpet showed up at the office... "Uh Sean there's this thing... its uh... well uh... you know"

I almost forgot Duane@HTP for some impeller work.. I just have not got to finishing up the Jet. When i get that all together i wont forget you.















Got a lot more to go but its a start....

You have plenty of time to be ready for Summer. Now Spring is just around the corner. Take your time and do it right. Your time on the water will be a lot more fun!

Man it was almost 80 today. And since we almost got a foot of snow on monday it was a nice change. The new wheel is WAY better than that old piece of crap i had. the issue is now that the new wheel looks so good i got to replace all my gauges...

We got the front seat bases covered but did not get the bench done yet. Thanks to everyone again. There is no way i would be able to get any of this done with out the insperation and guidence of this community and its site sponsors..

Ok some more eye candy.. After this i got to bolt the seats back in, Re install the impeller and bowl and some hose clamps on the plumbing.. Maybe 4 more hours....

And before any smart ass remarks.. Yes thats ALOT of gauges. They were all cut in before i got it so lots of gauges looks better than a bunch of holes.. Wiring it is a mother ****** though.. let me tell you...

The only issue now is i need to spend some time buffing on that Gel and now my old interior looks like ass next to all the new gear....
