No not with my system, the air being pulled in from the bottom side of the air piston (after the air from the top side is released through a quick exhaust valve) is regulated by the size of the hole this causes a vacuum which keeps the piston from slamming open and causing the hammer effect..
Ever tried to move a 2 way cylinder with one port plugged?
