    Default my first jet. need advise

    i bought my wife a spectra 20 with a new 460 in it. i have put some small upgrades on engine but thats all. i changed the motor mounts and exhaust tips. it has a 12jc pump on it with a diverter. being my first i have a blast with it. it has a loader grate in it from prior owner. I noticed everyone is going to the other style bowl. why and should i. in this boat its super clean but i have others also so im not going to show it race it , should i leave pump alone or can i help it out. im not sure of the impeller in it..

    Switching to a "split bowl" will add some "flexability" to your current setup, allowing for different "bolt ons" (wedges etc) Tom

    If it works don't F.... w/ it. Never need to give a woman another reason to be mad at you. Save the money for your other boats unless you or she can tell a noticable problem.
