WindWalker floor makeover ...

After getting bored in the other thread ... I went out and stripped down the Gullwing ... gonna go visit Todd tomorrow and see what we can come up with ... here's pics after removing the seats, rail kit, fuel tanks, carpet, blah blah blah ... man those stringers are like swiss cheese in the driver's area

I'm thinking about sanding and clearing the floors and filling & blacking out the stringers ...

you hauled ass. if you worked half as hard as you played you'd be retired by now

nice work busby. i would have stopped by today but i was busy turning the back of my steering wheel into an atari system for those lazy days on the river this summer.

After some recent bulkhead repair and hole-plugging on the stringers, I had the same thing done to my boat. Had the front bulkhead and transom done in black as well.

the tach needs to go on top of the deck. its easier to see up there. safety first

It actually needs to be in the dash ... but it's different there, it's growing on me.

tachs are overrated. just mash gas and let the other guy worry about his engine while you're out in front.

sounds good to me ... the last tach I had on the deck was on the hydro ... when it bounced out at over 150 and landed on the steering wheel, I put it inside the gunnel off of the bulkhead ... only used it for recall anyways ... safety first

god invented the rev limiter so we wouldnt need to look at no stinkin tach.
