    Default Hydraulic Place Diverter Pump

I need help with info for a Hydraulic Place Diverter Pump.

I need either a wireing diagram or explination on how to wire the pump
I need info on plumbing the pump (which hose connection is up and wich is down?)
I need pics of mounting ideas.
I bought a used pump but have no idea how it is wired or plumbed and it did not come with a mounting bracket..... Hal

I sent him the instruction sheet that PD supplies with their system. I also told him how the lines run from the ram to the pump.

    Thank's Guy's.
Greg That diagram and instructions helps alot.
Mine did not come with the dash side wireing harness,so I will have to make a wireing harness to go to the dash I will be using a wheel mounted button control. I need to know what each colored wire goes to or a wireing diagram that shows.
Greg, did by chance part of the instructions have a wireing diagram with it?
Also what size tubing or hose should be used? I will be using braided lines and I asume thy need to be high presure lines.
Thanks for the help Guy's, I really appreciate it.....Hal

    Hal,
I suggest using the Banderlog Diverter Power Relay. It allows for the pump to use power right from the battery instead of running it through the ignition switch. It also makes fora much better and smoother operating pump.
Here's a diagram of how it is wired-

Here's the wiring diagram for the switch-

It will plug right into the Bennett pump connection with how to wire it on the switch side.
Here's the link to the Banderlog page with all the info-
    http://banderlog.com/products/powerR...owerRelay.html

After having one for 4 years now, I wouldn't do it any other way but if you don't use one, the wiring info given should help you out. Also, it doesn't matter which hydraulic line goes where.

nope not at all, I only run the diverter relay but I do believe in sharing my personal experiences when it could help someone else decide what to do.

there's been some talk about it but nothing in stone yet. Kind of a weird year, the economy probably has a lot to do with it.

I guess it's a good year to just stay close to home. Discovery Park or maybe as far out as Elk Horn. The Water Cops are cracking down on DUIs in lieu of going to minor emergencies.

Now back to our regularly schedueled thread of Place Diverter wiring and plumbing.
