Well let me try this again if i had a boat that i didnt pull skiers and kids on a tube had to idle through a long no wake zone and wasnt looking for fuel mileage i would go with it. Its more of a race deal not a everyday drivin kinda deal. I run it on my river boat BUT i dont think its a user friendly deal for your everyday river or lake boat. If its a race setup deal i say go injected all the way.

injector hats are the way to go ... but as Danny said, it's not for everyone.

if you have a bad ass river ride ... I'd go with it. So simple.

Call Ralph or Spike Gorr with Gorr Fuel Systems in Havasu. They'll be able to set anyone up & ship world wide. 928-855-8800 Super nice guys

On a jet running gas ... no high speed lean out, that's a no no

Also, they love to run fat fat fat on idle, set your barrel valve to have it almost load up, once you crack the throttle it'll grab your attention.

Carbs on a blower is like choking your engine ... let those suckers breathe!

Injection is the way to go for a river hot rod. Barely tap the throttle and the boat hops out of the water. What Danny said is right on though. Gas mileage is really bad but the motor never is left wanting more fuel. Gorr fuel systems is a great starting point.
