Having problems identify a boat i acquired?

The registration shows this boat to be a 1968 model. Don't know if that is accurate? The Boat is 8' long, sit on top with Steering cables that go to the rear of the boat. There is also an Aluminum plate mounted in the front hole in the boat that goes all the way through, like a Keel? I was planning on restoring the boat, But i don't know if it is worth it or what propulsion its suppose to have?

It had an outboard on it. Transom is cracked were it was mounted. Don't know the make, but it's just an early sit down jet ski type boat. Burn it.
