    Loctite 542 or 567. This stuff is made for specific applications like these. Both of this items provide sealing properties as well as anti galling agents to enable correct torque values to be applied especially when dealing with head bolts.

    As a mech for disneyland we would only use C5-A copper anti seize stick from loctite for this type of bolt. You need to remember that there is a dry torque and a wet torque. Also remember that if you are reusing old bolts you need to go 80% of the torque. If you want to lock the threads then you need to use loctite #246 or #242 both are blue in color this will lock the bolt in place but you can still get it out. We use these two loctite's on every ride in disneyland.
