    Default Jack Seastrom - RIP

    It is with a heavy heart that I have to post this.

    Some of you might know that Jack Seastrom, father of Scott Seastrom has had some health issues recently. When we were in Choteau, Scott said that his dad's heart was weak and doctors weren't sure that he could come through a surgery.

    The week following Choteau, Scott and Maggie moved him from Oklahoma to a facility in Arkansas to be closer to him and do what they could do.

    In a phone call with Scott this morning, he told me that his dad "...passed to a better place..." last night.

    Scott advises that he will have more information as to arrangements for a memorial service as soon as they are available.

    Please keep Scott and Maggie in your thoughts and prayers.

    Gary,

    Thanks for the post although I know it is a hard one to make. I called Friday to the hospital and missed the family but noticed the hospital operator had transfered me to the advanced care unit. I felt at that time, Jack was near passing.

    Jack, God Speed to you old jet buddy. You are already missed.

    Gary, if you will e-mail me direct when you get the service information it will be appreciated.

    I talked with Scottie for a while this evening. He is doing pretty well under the circumstances. It is a loos, but he is relieved Jack is not suffering anymore. It has been a long couple of months for the family.

    Jack's wishes were to be cremated. So, that will take place and the family and friends will have a Memorial Celebration a week or so after Smokin' In The Cove.

    How many of you remember the Jac Sea technical articles back in the boat magazines of the late '70's and early '80's. What magazine was that? Hot Boat?

    Jack wrote a nice article on Jim Youngblood and the Youngblood TX-19 for me on the Youngbloodjetboats.com website a number of years ago. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to know him and his family. Good folks.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with Jac Sea and family. Always a hard thing to go through.

    Jac was a real helpful person to me on the phone.. Years ago I purchased his "Sea Fang " intake for a Jacuzzi WJ. from Jac. Man that thing loaded my pump. Even on rough water my 18' Southwind would keep pumping strong. His Biography in the jet world would be interesting. Deepest sympathies to his family.

    Unhappy RIP Jac

    HE will be missed

    i had the pleasure of being around him a handful of times and when i got the news the next morning i went to the bathroom and cried.

    i love Scott and Maggie with my heart and i liked Jac alot

    Godspeed and thanks Jac for the things we talked about in this life.


    i am already remembering the laughs i had with him and the 1 time i showed at the shop to use the press to press in some Harley cams,Jac came over and said what you working on son.

    i said i needed Scotts press and he took over,lol!!!!!!!!!!never worked on a Harley before but he looked it over and said ah Hell you don't need no press heres how we are going to do it,lol!!!!!!!

    after that i have done it Jacs way every time.

    Thank You Jac for that,ill never forget it.
