Been shopping for a sterndrive 21-23' closed bow. Hallett vector, Cole Superhawk. Found a 21' Hallett vector with a jet. Twin Turbo Gt performance 468bbc. Claims 85+MPH.
my question is, how well does this hull work with a jet. Seems to be pretty popular with the props. I know the pros and cons of jet vs prop, just more interested in the efficiency of a jet on a big heavy Hull.

If its a red and white one my old neighbor owns it. Really nice boat and super clean. Boat ran well and handle well to. Not sure what hes asking but i'm sure a lot less then he paid. Best of luck i don't think you will be disappointed if you get it

Damn! 85 in a big ol 21 Vector is runnin pretty good! I have always wondered about a 20' Schiada with a Jet, granted you would be the kid with a third eye when you come across a nice 20 rigged up with a vdrive, it would still be a neat boat IMO!
Got any pics of the 21' Vector?

My opinion is that anything above 21ft should be prop driven weather it be a vdrive or and I/O. The boats are just to heavy and work the pump way to hard. I guess if you had stupid power it wouldnt matter but why waste it. I guess it all depends on what you are wanting to do and where you wanting to go.

I too would love to see pics of the 21' Vector.

Check out Coleblooded's 97 closed bow Cole Superhawk. For 19k it's a really nice fast boat.

I'll post them after I see it Saturday.

As for usage, bass lake, Shasta, powell to Havasu, Parker, needles...
Kids and dogs, leaning away from a prop. Not too sure yet.
