    1st one is an old Rogers scoop

    2nd one we cut out on a waterjet and fab it up.

    I've often wondered, can one of these big ass scoops or one like a Dooley scoop cause any turbulance(sp) issues with the carbs?
    I know they do blow through carbs on turbo motors, but i thought you need to mod the carb for that. Do they wistle or buzz when you're just crusing? I'm kicken around some design ideas and want to make sure I'm not going to build in a problem.

    Glad you asked...haha...

    Mine whistles like a spooled up turbo when I decelerate.
    Probably because of the home made straps.
    Runs fine and all, but it lets off a good ZWIIINGGG!!! now and then.
    100 years from now, none of this will matter.
