I love turbos!
Sent from My Boostpower Marine Efi Beacon.
Since I now have some boost control from adding the BOV, I also added a 3-way solenoid to either close the valve to make max boost or vent it to make 12psi. I have it hooked to the button on my steering wheel. Going from 12psi to 24psi at the push of a button is quite a kick in the pants, lol. Better than a large hit of NOS and doesnt faid or run out.
This is a launch with 12psi
And this was launching at 12psi and then you can hear me hit the boost button for about 2.5 sec, this clicked the gps off just a tick over 120mph.

Wow, that worked really well.
I've got my two new 50mm BOV's here also and will be installing them in the next few days.
I have to hand it to you and Ron for working this out by controlling boost on the compressor side.
I never tried that and was always told that would make the turbo overspeed.
I can see where you have less volume to vent on the compressor side than the exhaust side.
Hey that cove looks familar!! :-) can't wait to get mine on. Awesome find and thanks for sharing!! Your boat hauls the mail Ole man!!

Great job man. Not working so well in reverse. lol. We will get it figured out. At the lake and not the race track.

Thanks Ron. You might have to move the BOV to the front of your hat to be the most effective. Just have to try it & see if it works were you have it.
In the event that your efi setup wont provide the control that your looking for to hit the index you might check into an ams 1000 to control it with. It will make any boost curve you desire and you can change it down to the .000 from what I understand. So if you need a tenth or need to loose a tenth you could do it at the far end of the track without affecting the launch. The controller doesnt know if its controlling a wastegate or a BOV, as long as the valve has control over the boost. JMO.
