Video of the starting lights?

Ok, in looking at Widowmaker's and Infomaniac's vids from this past weekend, you can see the lights on the starting barge, but not well enough to see them go through the whole start sequence. Anyone have any vids that show the whole sequence clearly ?

Old, would be cool to have a good video of that, you just gotta pick a number and try it and see where your at, its kind of a bummer when you need to leave in between numbers for an .0 light. for example the 8 going out and 7 coming in which is probably along the lines of where you'll be leaving, hopefully a hard 7.

Ron, thanks. That vid really shows the lights well. Are you saying he knocked the camera in the water or the tree?

I was really more interested in the sequence of flashing and solid yellow. Get a much better "feel" for the routine seeing it. Leave on 7? Shoot, I was thinking I'd be leaving when the yellow went solid. I'm sure I'll have some questions for you and Jack in a week or so.......

Actually pretty good, got home fast. Dog was tired so he went to sleep. Wife gave him a bath that night, he was filthy.

You will hear the starter say left lane thumbs up when your ready right lane same thing...Dont raise hand unless your ready! When he says watch the lights you fire the boat. You have 30 seconds of flashing yellow lights from the time he says watch the lights, this is your warm up time, program all your electronics etc. If your a flat bottom driver this is the part where you endlessly adjust yourself in your seat and squirm around in your seat like you have fire ants in your shorts another flatbottom move is you push the tach recall button 9000 times When the amber stops blinking and goes solid, visor down and you will feel the rope go up any second now. You can still hang on or you can let go, up to you. Once it goes solid I think its 5 seconds then the 9 comes up. The 9 used to stay for a full second then the numbers were half seconds apart, I think that has changed but it doesnt matter. Pick a number and deck the throttle and adjust from there. Do the same thing every time and just adjust as needed keeping in mind numbers are .5 apart.
