Does anyone have the Lucas PCE Index's
Does anyone have the Lucas PCE Index's
This is where they started and last years.
I don't know where they ended up.

Shoemaker are you guys gonna run the Pro Limited hydro or the pro limited jet? No doubt you'll bury the index either way, go get em.
Really didn't understand the whole thing but being we are running a smaller engine we just thought it would be a lot of fun to race some different people at Phoenix !!!!! Just wanted to know how quick we could run. Most of the index's are pretty soft. Talk about sandbagging!
I think it is a very interesting class. I'm not sure I understand it completely but this is how I think it works.
The indexes for the different classes determine the start stagger only. If you exceed the time in your class you don't loose the race due to breakout you just reset the time for everyone else in your class. And piss everyone off for doing so.
If I am mistaken someone correct me.
And I thought it was the same nationwide. The times posted on the SDBA site.

So whats the index for un blown gas jet for world finials.
Guys the best thing to do is call Ken Dollar and ask him. If they do not have an index for the the class you are talking about they MAY not let you run it. They will put you in a class that has an index that is close to yours. Here is the kicker and I would highlight this in the BOLDEST OF BOLD PRINT!!!!!!!
DO NOT LET DAVE LIPINSKI INTERFERE WITH ANYTHING YOU ARE DOING!! DO NOT LET HIM ASK YOU QUESTIONS, DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AND PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT HE FEEDING ANY LUCAS REP REGARDING THE CLASS. REPEAT!!!
Shoe, you will not be able to run under 7.70 no matter which class you run. If you run 7.70 on Saturday you will not be forced to lower your index on Sunday. But if you run under your index on Sunday, YOU and only you will be on that index until the next race when everyone in your class is now pissed at you and forced to run under it as well.
Per the Lucas rulebook next year the SDBA indexes and the NON SDBA indexes will be combined to one set of national indexes.
... ONLY if the index is 7.90 or quicker. if a person runs greater than .2 under their index on saturday, the index is lowered to the et on that run, +.2. in other words, if the index were 8.40 and you run an 8.10 on saturday, the new index is 8.30 for sunday for ALL boats of that class. and if somebody doesn't like the index being lowered, tough. just means they need to step up and run better in their own class.
that class was truly bitchin 9, 10, 11 years ago, when a lot of the people participating were trying to set records on pretty much every pass, and screw the index, it'll be what it is. it was heads up racing, as good as could be expected, when there were only 2 or 3 legitimate boats per class in the whole country. then, over time, it devolved to a whiney azzed bitch suckfest, particularly from people who were never involved in it back then, declining to basically 1 or 2 boats.
7.70 was a part of the problem. but over the last 10 year explosion in technology, there isn't a LEGITIMATE comp, pg, ubg anything that can't run under that number, relegating it all to one big bracket deal (IF someone actually had a current, legitimate comp jet deal).
BP...Lets get real now.No Comp Jet or Pro Gas Jet has ever ran under 7.70 or could have.![]()
