After polishing rails in my other boat and having chrome ones in my new one, chrome is definitely the way to go.

    Default Gelcoat

Hey JYeager, what brand of gelcoat did you use? Did you use an additive to the gel, like duratec or prestec clear additive? Is the clear top coat a clear gel?
Also I see that you primerd the whole boat, was the primer a poly primer?
The boat looks awesome, You are doing a great job....Thanks....Hal

I'm not here for a long time, I'm just here for a good time!
If your not on the edge.......your taking up too much room......Drive it like you stole it!

Hal, All the gel and primer was poly from Prestec. I only used the gel and thinned it 10% with acetone. i color sanded and buffed then used a 2 part clear of Prestec super clear and TX-2. Thanks for the kind words hal, your Kona project is what inspired me to take this one on.
